Education & Coaching Programs
Learning experiences that build regulation, connection, and confidence — for the people who support children, and for children themselves.
Some change happens in a therapy session. A lot of it happens everywhere else — in homes, classrooms, firehouses, clinics, and teams. Our education and coaching programs exist for that: structured, practical learning for parents, caregivers, educators, professionals, organizations, and children, in formats that range from a single workshop to a year-long partnership.
The Regulation Room
The Regulation Room is for the people who support children — parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists, first responders, and other professionals. Because here’s the part that’s easy to miss: a child’s ability to feel safe and regulated is profoundly shaped by the nervous system of the adult in front of them.
Participants learn to recognize their own stress responses, respond with intention instead of reaction, and build environments where regulation comes easier — for the child and for themselves. Practical, honest, and immediately usable.
Format: group sessions for teams, schools, and organizations, or as part of individual coaching.
Autism Burnout Program
Autistic burnout is real, and it’s more common than most people realize — a state of deep exhaustion that builds through masking, sensory overload, unmet support needs, and prolonged demands that outstrip capacity. It is not laziness, regression, or defiance.
This neurodiversity-affirming program helps autistic individuals and the people who support them recognize burnout, understand what’s driving it, and respond with strategies that actually help: reducing demands, supporting recovery, establishing boundaries, and building sustainable routines that honor the autistic person’s needs and identity — not strategies that ask them to mask harder.
12 Weeks to Better Regulation
Regulation isn’t a trick or a technique — it’s a whole-person skill, and it can be built. This structured 12-week program walks participants through regulation from the ground up, one week building on the last: sensory processing, emotional awareness, environmental influences, daily routines, co-regulation, communication, and a growing toolbox of practical strategies.
Participants finish with something better than notes: a personalized collection of regulation tools that fit their real life, ready to use long after week twelve.
Live Social-Learning Groups
Supportive, engaging groups where children and adolescents practice communication, collaboration, emotional awareness, flexible thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy — through activities worth caring about, not scripts to memorize.
Our groups are built on authentic connection. No masking required, no rigid expectations to conform to — just real practice, real peers, and room to be exactly who they are while they grow.
Team-Building Programs
Customized team-building experiences for schools, clinics, businesses, nonprofits, and community groups — strengthening communication, collaboration, trust, and shared problem-solving. Programs can weave in sensory and regulation concepts, experiential learning, and group challenges tailored to your team’s goals and working environment. Less trust-fall theater; more skills your team will use on Monday.
Year-Long Immersion Programs
A workshop can spark change. Sustaining it takes longer. Year-long immersion programs give parents, educators, therapists, and organizations an in-depth learning arc: build knowledge gradually, apply it in real settings, reflect on what happened, and keep receiving coaching and education throughout the year.
Each immersion is customized — sensory processing, emotional regulation, neurodiversity-affirming practice, developmental foundations, caregiver regulation, classroom participation, team development, or organizational culture — and may include live training, guided discussion, practical activities, resources, implementation support, and ongoing consultation. The goal is confident, lasting integration, not a binder on a shelf.
Speaking Engagements
Dr. Carrie Punger is available for keynotes, workshops, professional development, conference presentations, and community education events — customized for parents, educators, therapists, first responders, healthcare professionals, nonprofits, and community groups.
Frequent topics include pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, emotional regulation, autism and neurodiversity-affirming support, primitive reflexes, functional vision, executive functioning, developmental foundations, caregiver regulation, classroom participation, and creating supportive environments for children. Every presentation is tailored — bring your audience and your goals, and we’ll build the rest.
Therapist Mentorship
Individualized mentorship for occupational therapists, OTAs, students, and emerging pediatric practitioners. Mentorship is collaborative and shaped around your experience, clinical interests, and goals — clinical reasoning, evaluation and treatment planning, documentation, goal development, sensory and regulation-based intervention, functional vision, primitive reflexes, professional growth, and private-practice development.
Mentorship is intended for education and professional development. It does not replace formal supervision when supervision is required for employment, fieldwork, licensure, or regulatory compliance.
